Internet.com expands international presence in France

Internet.com, the E-business and Internet Technology Network, today launched france.internet.com. This French language site is the newest member of internet.com's growing family of regional and country-specific Web sites, providing local Internet news and resources as well as access to leading resources from the internet.com Network.

France.internet.com is a joint venture between internet.com LLC and Paris-based Web publishing and consulting firm La Mine. As part of the joint venture, La Mine will contribute its French Internet news site Metanews.net and opt-in e- mail newsletter. Metanews.net is one of the first vertical content sites in France to offer news and resources for Internet professionals, Web developers and sophisticated Internet users. There are currently over 4,200 subscribers to the French language e-mail newsletter. The france.internet.com Web site will make its formal debut at the leading Internet trade show and conference in France--Internet World Expo France '99 in Paris on May 26-27, 1999.
